With a recent tab sessions of 5 tabs, one was corrupt. The time before, I opened a tab session of 10 tabs and 3 were corrupted.

Hello Kevin, You are the first one to report this. It would be nice, if you could detect some system in such behavior. Does it happen after some kind of crash ? Or it happens after regular SSMS shutdown/restart ? Check also, that you have latest build of SSMS version, and please tell, which SSMS version do you use (2008-2016).
