| SSMS has Ctrl+U shortcut to change databases. I'm trying to set a similar keyboard shortcut for SSMSBoost Preferred Connections. The only thing I see that I can configure is "Pick Recent Connections". Am I missing something? Using latest version and SSMS 17.2 |

| I agree with the "personal" license idea. I use this everyday, but I could pay a lot less for a competitor's product (not going to name it) and get many of the same functional features. |

| I have same issue from both my personal gmail account and my work email account. I too am trying to get a license question answered. | Hi, thank you for details. We have finally solved e-mail config issues and it should work now. If not - please post your non-delivery reports here for further investigation. The issue was due to server migration and combining of GSuite with Amazon AWS + some special cases of user mail server. Sorry for any inconvenience. |

I there a place to share and download different format files for the SQL Formatting option? The original "Old fashioned formatting" is good but I would think someone has come up with something others may find more useful. |

| On Windows Server 2012 R2, when trying to install SSMSBoost v.3.1.6458, I get this error: Quote: SSMSBoost add-in for SQL Server Managment Studio Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error. I do not see any additional info on the error so I'm at a loss here. I have a previous version installed (community) with a beta license: version 3.0.6397.514. Note the options to copy hardware key, activate/reactivate, migrate license are all grayed out. | My activation of SSMSBoost stopped working. I found that Windows launch with upper case of username. But my activation key has been generated with lower case of username. I launch SSMS with lower case of username and SSMSBoost is working. Although, SSMSBoost not work via simple launch SSMS. How can i resolve this issue? |

| I agree with Rivanni - the sudden jump to $150 to get any of the useful base features was both unexpected and unworkable. 99% of what I used SSMSBoost for was to copy results to Excel. I can get similar functionality for $30 with SSMS Tools. Community with next to no useful features compared to Pro with All features.. but nothing in between. The lack of options for licensing will kill the program off just as quickly as it being free.. "For the want of a nail.." Sadly, SSMSBoost got uninstalled today. |

| I understand your argumentation and we have spent time before marking such a decision. This step was necessary to assure SSMSBoost availability and development. Current price, compared to the amount of features and time they save is reasonable. Setting any other price would not allow us to cover resources, already invested and being invested into project. Brooks writes in his book "The Mythical Man-Month", that there is a huge investment gap between "small good tool" and a "product". SSMSBoost has become a product and must be kept in appropriate state. You have a free choice now: to try to collect the features that you need from other add-ins (free and paid, dead or alive) or have them all with one add-in. You are also welcome to propose us features that you miss in our add-in to have it as all-in-one solution. We are always happy to improve our product. |

| Did you uninstall previous beta version, before installing v3.1? Are there any special domain policies preventing add-in to install? Are there any event log entries, that could help us to detect the problem? Which user do you use to install the add-in ? (Admin, your own user...) |

| My whole take on this price is that it's more than what I paid for Windows 10. I don't use it all the time and I don't use it at home. That is unless I'm remoted into my work machine then I will use it. Don't get me wrong. It's a great piece of software and it's saved myself many, many times. But my company won't pay for anything like this but I'm a firm believer in paying for something I feel is very useful. I would pay $50-$60 for the full version, but for something I only use at work, $150 USD is quite high. Now as I said in a private email I feel the developers are due some money for their hard work and continuing efforts. I'd like to pay something to show my gratitude. If I am left only with the community version, so be it. But if the price for the full version were lowered significantly, I'd buy it. And as I am reading throughout this forum, I think there are many others that feel the same way. One way to look at it is this. Would the developer want to get 10 $50 Full-featured licenses that net $500, or 10 community licenses that net $0? I don't know the averages of how many people pay for the full license so I can't venture a guess that out of, let's say 10 licensese that are distributed, how many are free and how many paid the $150? Based off the responses I'm reading there are a lot of community licenses going out, but some want to pay the developer for their efforts. I know I do!  That's my take on it. I can see both sides. I just believe in pricing it aggressively to make it affordable so those that want to pay for it, can afford it. $150 is out of reach for me. | Hi. I had enabled "Important DB alert" during SSMB evaluation period. It seemed to work properly. I have now activated SSMB using Community license. "Important DB alert" is still active and editable, however when i open a new query, the alert is not displayed. Is this normal behaviour or not? If yes, i'd suggest to disable the relevant fields in Settings so it gets less confusing for the user, or perhaps add a warning at that section of the Settings window since this is an important setting. Also, it would be nice if the "Important DB alert" also appeared in the "edit x rows" window on a table (if possible). |
